Job Overview

RD RESERVES LTD is seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Consultant to join our team in London, UK. The Security Consultant will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and Monitor: Regularly patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates, ensuring that only authorised individuals are allowed entry.
• Surveillance: Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Provide assistance in emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and evacuations.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur. Report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Customer Service: Assist and direct visitors, providing information and ensuring they adhere to security protocols.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Report safety hazards and take proactive measures to ensure a safe environment.
• Security Consulting: Provide expert advice on security measures and protocols. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate security risks.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.

Licensing:

• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is required, but training is available for the right applicant.

Skills:

• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including standing for long periods and patrolling large areas.

Working Conditions

• Hours: Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Environment: Both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on the specific assignment. Exposure to various weather conditions may be required.
